Accessibility Statement

Sonrise Roofing wants every homeowner in Fremont and the East Bay to be able to use this website, whatever tools they browse with: a screen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification, voice control or a phone held in one hand.

Sonrise Roofing wants every homeowner in Fremont and the East Bay to be able to use this website, whatever tools they browse with: a screen reader, a keyboard alone, magnification, voice control or a phone held in one hand. A leak over the kitchen does not care how you browse, and neither do we.

What This Site Does

We built the site with widely used web accessibility guidelines in mind and we check it against them as pages change. Here is what that means in practice.

  • Every page can be navigated by keyboard alone, in a sensible order, with the focused link or button visibly outlined.
  • Every photo that carries meaning, including the stone-coated flashings and finished roofs, has a text alternative, and decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
  • Text and background colors are chosen for contrast, so copy stays readable in bright sun on a phone and on a dim monitor at night.
  • Pages use proper headings, one main heading and a logical outline beneath it, so screen reader users can jump between sections.
  • Every field on the estimate form has a visible label, and error messages say which field needs attention and why.
  • Animation is kept to a minimum, and the site respects your operating system's reduce motion setting.
  • Text can be enlarged in your browser without content being cut off, and pages work on phones, tablets and desktops without sideways scrolling.
  • The phone number is a tap-to-call link on every page.

Where We May Fall Short

No site is perfect, and we do not claim this one meets every guideline on every page. Some job photos may have alternative text that is briefer than the picture deserves. Content we did not create, such as an embedded map or a link to the manufacturer's website, may not meet every guideline. We fix what we find, and we would rather hear about a problem than have you give up on the page.

Report a Problem

If any part of this site is hard to use with your assistive technology, call (510) 791-6457 or email sonriseroofing58@gmail.com with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the tools you use. Adeline reads every message. We reply, and we fix what we can as quickly as we can.

Get an Estimate Another Way

If the estimate form on the contact page gives you trouble, skip it. Call (510) 791-6457, answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and give us your name, the property address and what is going on with the roof. Or email sonriseroofing58@gmail.com with the same details. Either route gets Adeline to your roof, and the visit, the written estimate and the follow-up are the same whichever way you reach us.

If the written estimate itself is hard for you to read, tell Adeline what works. It normally arrives by email, and she can send it as plain text rather than an attachment, go through it with you line by line over the phone, or bring a printed copy to the house. Ask, and we will find a way.

Our Commitment

Accessibility is not a page we wrote once and forgot. As we add service pages, area pages and photos of finished roofs, each one goes through the same checks: headings in order, images described, links that say where they go, form fields labeled. When someone reports a barrier, fixing it goes on the list ahead of new content. If you have a suggestion that would make the site easier for you or someone you know, we want to hear it.
