“We purchased a property with roof previously replaced (more than 10 years ago) by Sonrise roofing. We discovered a leak and call the company. Adam came right away to inspect the issues, it turns out the leak was due to built up of leaves in the gutter causing water sitting in the flat area of the roof. The roof is still in very good conditions. Adam cleaned up the build up and also sealed some of the vents that could potential causing leaks in the future. This is way beyond what I would expect from a roofing company. They didn't charge us anything for the cleanup. I would not hesitate to use this company for any future roofing needs and highly recommend them to any of my friends.”
“It's really nice to see that this business has gone back to the family that started it many years ago and built a great company that replaced many of the roofs in Fremont. We first met the original founder Kevin more than 14 years ago and he was warm and sincere in his approach to customers and that was reflected in his employees also who worked with care and concern. So a few months ago our backyard shed roof needed to be replaced. I reached out to Sonrise and Adam came over, quoted a fair price and did the job perfectly. Even though it was a small job compared to doing the main home, he took the same care and concern and did the job perfectly. As usual!!! And cleaned up very well and very quickly. I have recommended him to the rest of my home owners group and would gladly recommend Sonrise to anyone who needed help with either a new roof or just roof repairs.”
“We first hired Sonrise Roofing, a family-owned business, to roof our home about 24 years ago. The first job was well done without lingering issues i.e.-no leaks or roof problems! In August 2026, we Contacted Sonrise roofing to roof our home again. Adeline visited our home and provided us with a quote. Since we installed solar panels on our roof about 10 years ago, the panels needed to be removed by a solar contractor. Sonrise recommended two solar contractors to perform the job. We hired one of the contractors and the work was coordinated between the two contractors without issue. Adeline and Adam kept us informed about the dates and times that the original roof would be removed, the delivery date of the new roofing material and installation of a new roof. There were no issues or surprises. The work was performed on time, within budget and the roof permit was provided on the final day of the work. The vents were all specially coated with the same roofing material as the roof so the job looks great. Other recent roof jobs performed in the neighborhood don't have the same level of care/detail. I suggest that you contact Sonrise Roofing if you're looking for a great roofing contractor. We now have a 30 year roof we can count on for our family.”
“We chose SONRISE ROOFING to replace our roof in July 2026 after reviewing multiple bids from other contractors. They were not the lowest bidder, but we had a positive experience with SONRISE ROOFING when they installed our existing roof in 1998. When Adeline Farrer, President of SONRISE came to our house to discuss the work we needed done, she came prepared. She had reviewed the files they had for the roof that her father had installed in 1998. And her brother Adam has been part of the SONRISE crew since 1998. Adeline arranged scheduling for the gutter replacement, researched a replacement skylight for the one that is not made anymore, as well as a solar powered Attic Fan to replace our old attic fan. I arranged for additional bids for comparison. Some contractors played up that they were part of a large company with hundreds of workers. And these tried to sell me things I did not need or want. Some seemed to be fly-by-night operations. Others, I just did not know the quality of their work. Choosing SONRISE paid off in the end. Once a start date was set, the job was done in a week and everything went smoothly. Even neighbors commented about how pleasant and polite the work crews were. We are happy with the final product and highly recommend SONRISE ROOFING.”
